About Us:

Circonomy began in 2013 to raise money for a cause. With over 55,000 Charities and NFPs in Australia, the idea began to solve donor fatigue. That vision created a movement, establishing the World’s Biggest Garage Sale – now known as Circonomy, reshapingorganisational and individual attitudes and actionsthrough circular economy solutions.

More than ten years later, Circonomy is now one of Australia’s most innovative, award winning and successful social enterprises, with a passionate team across Australia creating positive impact at scale. We partner with a growing list of Australian businesses and corporates who want to find impact-driven solutions for dormant assets. As a champion of circularity, you’ll take ownership for creating relationships with our customers through multiple channels, finding circular solutions to meet their needs. Through the sale of recommerced products, rehoming goods to community partners and working within the community – it is all critical to achieving our goals.

Some words that resonate and make you feel energised include:

  • Proactive
  • Detail oriented
  • Dynamic
  • Resilient
  • Organised
  • Customer centric

You are the person others give things to, knowing they will get done!

You are a passionate and experienced sales or account executive, with exceptional administrative strength, currently or recently working in a retail or business environment. You have reached a point where you want to have impact through the work you do, and perhaps are in a role where you have reached a ceiling in progression, motivated to find the next step in your career.

You have led initiatives or transformations in building long-term relationships with customers and community. You work methodically when faced with multiple priorities and tasks and are known as someone who demonstrates qualities that inspire positive action from those around you.

You are a naturally curious mind and a decisive problem solver, always seeking ways to do things better. A great environment for you is one where no two days are the same, allowing you to unleash your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to solve everyday challenges.

You have had experience with a safety & well-being first mindset, that values high performance to achieve a great employee and customer experience.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Circular Precinct and will involve working some weekends. If it doesn’t quite fit what you’re after, let us know – we’re about finding the right person and finding a way to make it work for you.

An immediate start is on offer so if you are seeking to change the planet and would like to become a vital member of our team, please send your CV, including a Cover Letter explaining why you would be suitable and why you’d like to work for us.

Are you ready for the challenge?

National challenges need national solutions. We are a start-up that is scaling up, powered by a purpose-driven team, working with leading corporates, backed by values-aligned investors, and endorsed daily by increasingly conscious consumers.

We love what we do, and care a lot – for each other, our customers, and our planet. We’re ambitious, and (a little) impatient, motivated by the possibilities but staying grounded in the progress we’re making. We work at pace because we have no time to waste!
