Job summary

JBS Australia Group’s Caroona Feedlot in NSW seeks an experienced Safety Advisor to drive safety culture, coach leaders, and oversee the WHS Management System. Full-time, reporting to Feedlot Manager, you’ll partner with site teams to improve health and safety outcomes.

You will lead hazard identification, incident investigations, inspections, contractor management, and emergency preparedness, build safety capability, run the WHS Committee, promote consultation, and support health and wellbeing

Qualifications

• WHS experience and knowledge of applying workplace health and safety legislation.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and employees in WHS practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical WHS advice and coaching to leaders and employees.
• Oversee implementation of the JBS Safety Management System and safety activities.
• Lead hazard identification, incident investigations, inspections, and contractor management.
• Support emergency preparedness and WHS reporting.
• Build safety capability and lead the WHS Committee.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement across the site.
