Job summary

CPB Contractors, in joint venture with UGL, is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support major construction operations across a multi-megawatt data centre project. You will collaborate with site leaders to drive safety excellence, identify risks and ensure compliance, with reporting to the Safety Manager.

You will conduct inspections, lead risk assessments, and deliver inductions and toolbox talks, helping to foster a proactive safety culture onsite and in line with legislation and CIMIC

Qualifications

• Qualification in WHS with construction knowledge.
• Ability to interpret health and safety legislation and standards.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and critical risk management activities.
• Provide practical health and safety advice to frontline leaders and workers.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation, standards, and company procedures, and assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and proactive safety culture.
