Job summary

Randstad is seeking an APS6 Safeguarding Planner to identify, assess and manage risks around complex participant circumstances. The role delivers urgent safeguarding interventions within a case management framework and provides clear written and verbal guidance to internal staff while liaising with external entities.

The incumbent will interpret relevant legislation and policies, coach APS3-APS5 staff, monitor workflow capacity and lead quality improvement initiatives to strengthen service

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage risks related to complex and sensitive participant circumstances.
• Provide urgent and short-term safeguarding interventions under a case management model.
• Provide clear written and verbal advice, guidance, and pathway options to internal staff.
• Liaise with external entities.
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation, policy, and procedural frameworks.
• Coach and mentor staff, including supervising APS3-APS5 roles when needed.
• Monitor workflow capacity and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to strengthen service delivery.
