Job summary

Pro AV Solutions in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to join the national Procurement team. The role focuses on sourcing products, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting project teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment.

You will work from our Adelaide office with periodic interstate travel, collaborating with Sales, Finance and Project teams to optimize procurement processes and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or similar administration role.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience using ERP systems or ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for Victorian operations, ensuring goods and services are sourced to meet project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and resolve delivery, quality and commercial issues.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, maintain supplier and product information, and ensure accurate National ETA updates in the ERP system.
• Process supplier invoices, coordinate returns and credits, and maintain procurement records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse & Logistics, and Project teams to support timely procurement and movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels, support stock replenishment and assist with stocktakes and audits.

Our South Australian branch is seeking a proactive and organised Procurement Officer to join our national Procurement team. You'll play a key role in ensuring products and equipment are sourced efficiently, supplier relationships are maintained, and project teams receive what they need to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

As a Procurement Officer, you'll be based in our Adelaide office primarily supporting procurement activities for our Victorian operations, while also managing national ETA requirements. You'll work closely with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholders to ensure products are procured efficiently, deliveries remain on schedule, and inventory requirements are met. The role will also require periodic interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for Victorian operations, ensuring goods and services are sourced in line with project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive pricing and resolving delivery, quality and commercial issues.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, maintain supplier and product information, and ensure accurate National ETA updates within the ERP system.
• Process supplier invoices, coordinate returns and credits, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse & Logistics and Project teams to support the timely procurement, delivery and movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels, support stock replenishment and assist with stocktakes and inventory audits.
• Generate procurement reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, supplier performance and inventory management.

About you

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar administration role.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using ERP systems (or the ability to learn new systems quickly).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence working across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to undertake periodic interstate travel.
• A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
