Allied Express is seeking a highly organised Fleet Allocator to join our Operations team in Royal Park SA. You will coordinate daily fleet movements, ensure on-time deliveries, monitor utilisation, and work with drivers and depot staff to meet service standards.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and coordinate daily fleet movements across multiple service channels.
• Ensure deliveries and freight collections are completed on time.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and optimise routes to maximise efficiency.
• Work closely with drivers, depot teams and supervisors to achieve service outcomes.
• Monitor driver performance and earnings in line with requirements.
• Escalate operational, service or driver-related issues promptly to management.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Complete and finalise daily operational and service reports.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and WHS requirements.
• Contribute positively to the overall culture and team environment.

Job description

Allied Express is seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Allocator to join our Operations team based in Royal Park SA. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day allocation and coordination of taxi trucks, PUD, bulk deliveries, and freight collections while ensuring service standards, operational efficiency, and driver requirements are consistently achieved. Working closely with depot and offsite supervisors, you will play a key role in ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment, has strong operational knowledge, and enjoys problem-solving and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

Allocate and coordinate daily fleet movements across multiple service channels

Ensure all permanent runs, deliveries, and freight collections are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements

Monitor fleet ultilisation and optimise routes to maximise operational efficiency

Work closely with drivers, depot teams, and supervisors to achieve service outcomes

Monitor driver performance and earnings in line with operational requirements

Escalate operational, service, or driver-related issues promptly to management

Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve service issues efficiently

Complete and finalise daily operational and service reports

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements

Contribute positively to the overall culture and team environment

About You

You have previous experience in transport, logistics, dispatch, or fleet allocation
