Job summary
Tasmania Government Beaconsfield District Health Service seeks a Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across the rural Multipurpose Service, spanning sub-acute, residential aged care and community services.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee workforce planning, clinical governance, quality and safety, and foster a positive workplace culture, while partnering with consumers, families and key stakeholders to deliver resident-centred care.
Qualifications
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience across acute, subacute, emergency, aged care, and community care.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage workforce planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership across the rural Multipurpose Service.
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, high quality person-centred care across sub-acute, residential aged care and community services.
- Oversee day-to-day management including workforce planning, clinical governance, quality and safety, staff development and positive workplace culture.
