Job summary

Omega Medical seeks an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead an MPS delivering high-quality care across aged care, acute, and urgent care services in a rural setting.

You will oversee a 34-bed Residential Aged Care facility, an 8-bed Acute Ward, and a 2-bed Urgent Care Centre, providing clinical and operational leadership and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or in a senior nursing leadership position.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Nurse Unit Management Service (MPS) delivering high-quality care across aged care, acute, and urgent care.
• Oversee a 34-bed Residential Aged Care facility, 8-bed Acute Ward, and 2-bed Urgent Care Centre.
• Provide clinical and operational leadership across the service.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve excellent patient and resident outcomes.
