Job summary

Ceduna District Health Services is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager – Aged Care to provide strong clinical leadership, coordination and support to our nursing team and contribute to safe, high-quality, person-centred care in a regional setting.

You will work with a committed multidisciplinary team, promote staff development and contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current registration (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) or eligibility.
Proven clinical leadership experience in aged care or medical-surgical settings.
Ability to lead, develop and support a diverse nursing team.
Strong communication and relationship-building with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and coordination to support safe, high-quality aged care.
Lead, support and develop the nursing team, fostering a positive and learning-focused culture.
Coordinate day-to-day service delivery, workforce and resources to ensure continuity of care.
Drive quality improvement, evidence-based practice and clinical governance within the service.
Build strong relationships with staff, patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
