Job summary

NSW Health in the Far West Local Health District is seeking an Administration Officer to provide administrative support across the team and department, ensuring efficient operations in line with district policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Business administration and/or experience providing administration support, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS Office products including Word, Excel, email and databases.
• Proficient organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Proficient interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with people at all levels.
• Ability to travel within the Far West Local Health District facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of high quality, timely and efficient administrative support to the team and department in line with Far West LHD policies and procedures.
• Ensure the efficient running of the Health Service.
