Job summary

Finley Health Service in the NSW rural community of Finley is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer to provide general practice services. The role focuses on patient-centered care across a range of GP services, with emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.

You will work within the MLHD network, provide admitting, consultative, diagnostic, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services, plus participate in education and quality initiatives across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Providing admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as required by MLHD.
• Being available during rostered hours and on-call, including clinical handovers, supervision, teaching, and emergency and routine care.
• Offering education and support to clinicians across multiple disciplines, promoting quality education and safe clinical practice.
