Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District in Eurobodalla is seeking a Health and Security Assist to support safe, patient-centred care across our facilities. You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team, undertake ward duties, assist with patient transfer, cleaning and security tasks as directed by clinical staff.

The role requires current NSW Security licence (Class 1A) or willingness to obtain it within 3 months, First Aid certification, ability to work a 24/7 roster, and a valid driver's licence

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum) and ability to maintain the licence and First Aid Certificate
• Willingness to obtain NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum) and First Aid Certificate within 3 months
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Legislation and Security Industry Act
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions, policies and duty lists

Responsibilities

• Form part of a multi-disciplinary care team to support safe, patient-centred care
• Assist with ward duties, patient transport and general duties as directed by clinical staff
• Undertake cleaning duties and security tasks as required
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold safety standards across facilities
