Job summary

Northern NSW Local Health District Tweed Heads NSW is seeking Health and Security Assistants to join the team, providing clinical support, patient transfers, and general ward assistance.

You will hold a NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum) and be prepared to perform cleaning, equipment handling, and security duties as required. This role offers a stable position within a supportive health network across the region.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum) and be able to provide clinical support services, include general assistance in wards, transfers of patients, equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to undertake cleaning duties and security related tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support services in wards and general assistance to patient care.
• Assist with transfers of patients, equipment and supplies within the facility.
• Undertake cleaning duties as part of ward cleanliness and safety.
• Carry out security duties as required and directed.
