Job summary

Toowoomba Grammar School invites applications for Head of Rugby. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Rugby program across Junior and Senior Schools, working with students, staff, coaches and external partners to deliver outstanding sporting experiences.

You will develop players and coaches, coordinate fixtures and camps, manage budgets and resources, and promote participation and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• ARU Level 2 coaching accreditation or higher.
• Experience leading a school Rugby program across age groups.
• Commitment to a safe, inclusive environment and child wellbeing.
• Ability to recruit and develop coaching staff.
• Strong communication with students, families and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day operational delivery of the Rugby program.
• Coordinate fixtures, training schedules, trials, camps and carnivals.
• Plan and deploy the coaching workforce; manage budgets, facilities and equipment.
• Develop consistent coaching practices and player pathways across age groups.
• Support representative players and recruit/develop coaching staff.
• Represent the School at GPS fixtures and community Rugby events.
