Job summary

Paradise First Aid (RTO 32268) is seeking a Training Operations Manager to own and run the RTO. You will join a leadership trio reporting to the Head of Operations, and drive calendar, trainer leadership, compliance and student lifecycle with automated processes.

The role requires 3+ years in an RTO or training org with management accountability, strong ASQA/AVETMISS knowledge, and hands-on use of aXcelerate. Based at the Gold Coast, the position offers autonomy and a wealth of modern tools.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in an RTO or training organisation with at least two in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of RTO Standards, ASQA, USI, AVETMISS and audit activity.
• Hands-on experience with a student management system (aXcelerate preferred).
• Budget or P&L experience with revenue/margin targets and receivables.

Responsibilities

• Own the training business budget, revenue targets and annual delivery plan.
• Own the public and onsite course calendar across all delivery locations.
• Lead casual Trainer/Assessor team including recruitment, rostering and performance.
• Oversee RTO compliance as operational lead including audit prep and AVETMISS/USI reporting.
• Manage student lifecycle from enquiry to certificate with automated systems.
• Handle quoting, invoicing and receivables for workplace, school and group training.
• Oversee training centre, equipment, WHS and consumables.
• Drive training operations tech roadmap including aXcelerate, automation and AI tools.
• Provide weekly and quarterly management reporting to Head of Operations.
