Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an RPAS Instructor (Maintenance/Operator) to design, deliver and evaluate training for Maintenance Technicians in Australia and overseas. You will lead classroom, practical, flight and simulation instruction, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include updating courseware, coordinating resources, and supporting Flight Operations on long deployments up to four months.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent with instructor experience.
• Knowledge of RPAS air vehicle and ground segments, including mission plans.
• Familiarity with maintenance processes, tools and troubleshooting.
• IT skills covering applications, hardware and networking.
• Ability to work across cultures and build customer relationships.
• Eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance and hold a valid Australian Open Driver Licence.
• Ability to travel for up to 4 months to domestic and international locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver RPAS training for maintenance technicians and staff.
• Review syllabuses, class rosters and courseware; adjust delivery as needed.
• Coordinate facilities, hardware, and flight time resources.
• Maintain training area and manage tools and spares.
• Support Flight Operations, including pre-flight planning and mission evaluation.
• Document training progress and provide feedback to learners.
