Job summary

Insitu Pacific is seeking an RPAS Instructor (Maintenance/Operator) to review, update and deliver RPAS training for maintenance technicians and staff. You will also support flight operations on domestic and international assignments for up to four months.

Essential qualifications include a Certificate IV in Aeroskills and Training & Assessment, plus RPAS knowledge, IT skills, and a Defence clearance. A valid Australian Driver Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills; Avionics/Technical/Structures
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher and instructor experience
• RPAS knowledge: air vehicle, ground segments and supportability
• IT skills including applications, hardware and networking
• Ability to adapt to varying interpersonal styles and cultures
• Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance and valid Australian Open Driver Licence

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, updating and delivering RPAS training for Maintenance Technicians
• Delivering flight training for staff and customers in Australia and overseas
• Support Flight Operations on domestic and international assignments up to 4 months
• Maintain RPAS and conduct testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Coordinate with SMEs to resolve field maintenance issues
• Prepare post-mission reports/logs and training records
