Job summary

SGS Australia seeks an experienced RPAS Compliance Leader to support the Chief Pilot, maintain CASA compliance, and deliver drone projects and asset inspections across Australia. This role focuses on governance, safety, and cutting-edge operations within the SGS Fulcrum Robotics group.

You will mentor pilots, manage records, and drive improvements while working with clients and regulators in a dynamic field.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and Part 101 applicability.
• Experience mentoring pilots and supervising field teams.
• Senior UAV/operator background with aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CASA compliance and governance for RPAS operations under ReOC.
• Lead compliance projects, inductions, approvals and improvements.
• Manage pilot records, currency and competency activities nationwide.
• Deliver UAV field operations, asset inspections and condition assessments.
• Ensure documentation and reporting are accurate and timely.
• Mentor UAV Operators and promote safety culture.
• Build relationships with regulators, clients and stakeholders.
• Lead risk, incident response and quality activities to meet standards.
