Job summary

SGS Australia is seeking an experienced Robotics Operator to lead the delivery of inspection, survey, and monitoring projects using UAVs, ROVs, and UGVs across industrial and environmental sectors. You will engage with clients, mentor field teams, and support continuous improvement in robotics operations.

You will process spatial data, generate GIS, mapping, and 3D modelling deliverables, and ensure safety and quality in all activities while embracing cutting-edge technologies across field

Qualifications

• CASA RePL certification.
• Experience operating UAVs, ROVs, and/or UGVs in industrial, infrastructure, environmental, or resource sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership in field operations or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of robotics platforms, sensors, and inspection technologies.
• Knowledge of CASA regulations, WHS and risk management.
• Experience with GIS and spatial data software (ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D, Metashape).
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Experience in asset inspection, environmental monitoring, surveying, or industrial services.
• UET20619 Certificate II in ESI - Asset Inspection.
• Experience leading multiple projects and field teams.
