St Joseph's Nudgee College is seeking a hands-on Rowing Boatshed Manager / Facility Coordinator to oversee waterfront operations, fleet maintenance and transport logistics for its GPS rowing program. The role is central to safety and peak performance across training sessions, regattas and camps.

You will lead maintenance of boats and gear, coordinate trailer loading, ensure the waterfront facilities are clean and ready, and work with students, coaches and families to keep the rowing community

St Joseph’s Nudgee College is seeking a skilled and proactive Rowing Boatshed Manager / Facility Coordinator to oversee waterfront operations and fleet maintenance for our renowned GPS rowing program.

This hands‑on position is vital to the success and safety of our rowing community, ensuring our boats, gear, facilities, and transport logistics are operating at peak performance year‑round.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep, rigging, and repair of rowing boats, motors, and training gear and equipment.

Logistics & Movement: Coordinate seamless trailer loading, transport, and equipment setup for daily training, regattas, and seasonal camps.

Facility Operations: Oversee the overall safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness of our waterfront facility.

Community Engagement: Work collaboratively with students, coaching staff, families, external suppliers, and the broader rowing community.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in rowing boat rigging, fleet maintenance, and practical boat/equipment repairs.

Exceptional organisational, logistical, and problem‑solving skills with a proactive attitude.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships across the school community.

Availability to work flexible hours—including early mornings, split shifts, weekends, and camps during the peak rowing season.

Mandatory Credentials: Current Driver’s Licence, Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card), and a Marine Driver’s Licence (or genuine willingness to obtain one prior to start).
