Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a candidate for a Permanent Full-Time role in regional NSW. Based at the Regional Transport Management Centre, you will operate tunnel and traffic management systems, coordinate responses to incidents, and work a rotating 24/7 roster to ensure smooth travel on the State network.

Five weeks annual leave and overtime rates apply. You will identify congestion, assess impacts on corridors, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable journeys for the NSW

Qualifications

Experience coordinating with professionals across levels and divisions.
Sound judgement and risk mitigation in transport environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Operate network and tunnel management systems and coordinate responses to events.
Work with Transport Management Centre to optimise customer experience on regional NSW networks.
Identify congestion and assess impacts on transport corridors and routes.
Operate control systems for state networks including tunnel systems and VMS/VS signs.
Work a 24/7 rotating roster with penalty and overtime rates and five weeks annual leave.
