You thrive in a fast-paced team environment that challenges you.

Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.

In this role, you'll:

Work within our Regional Transport Management Centre within the Operations Coordination Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on operating a range of network and tunnel management systems; and coordinating responses to planned events and unplanned incidents.

This role will see you working closely with our Transport Management Centre’s traffic operations room while focusing on the achievement of team goals and objectives to optimise the customer experience when travelling on the State transport network in Regional NSW.

You will Identify and assess unusual congestion and delays, including any impacts to transport corridors or routes. This is a 24/7 operations centre and therefore you will be required to work a rotating roster covering day and night shifts and often be available on public holidays throughout the year as required. As these are shift work positions, attractive penalty and overtime rates, along with 5 weeks annual leave per year will apply.
