Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Regional Transport Management Centre in NSW. You will coordinate responses to planned events and unplanned incidents, and operate network control systems including traffic and tunnel management.

This permanent full-time role is based onsite at McLeods Shoot, NSW, with a rotating day/night roster, penalty rates, and five weeks annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with professionals across levels and divisions.
• Proven ability to exercise sound judgement, risk mitigation and problem-solving in transport and tunnel environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to planned events and unplanned incidents.
• Operate control systems for the State network (traffic and tunnel) in regional NSW.
• Support the management of unplanned incidents, including evaluating and reporting on outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Transport Management Centre to optimize the customer experience on the State transport network.
