Job summary

Poly Water Tanks Pty on the Central Coast is seeking a factory hand / forklift operator. The role blends production floor duties with loading/unloading finished products, requiring regular lifting of 25kg and pushing 75kg tanks. Night shifts may occur during busy periods, and a strong safety/quality mindset is essential.

You must have a NSW Class C license and access to a car, plus a White Card. Immediate start and a path to permanency are offered with on-the-job training.

Rotational Moulding Factory Hand / Forklift Operator

Poly Water Tanks, located on the Central Coast, has been manufacturing quality polyethylene rainwater tanks for over 20 years. We are a small, family-owned and run business with a focus on safety and quality. We are looking for employees who match our cultural and strategic values, have a strong work ethic and a sense of pride in completing a task.

The position is for a factory hand to assist in all aspects of the process of manufacturing by rotational moulding and provide forklift services. Tasks include but are not limited to, loading moulds with powder, removing tanks from moulds, quality inspection, tank assembly and fitting, and loading and unloading delivery trucks. You will be required to.

About the Role:

This is a varied position where you will split your time between the production floor and loading and/or delivering our finished products with the daily, morning priority task being to load the trucks for deliveries. You must be fit enough to regularly lift/move 25kg mass, push 75kg tanks from trucks, and cope with exposure to hot factory conditions. There may be opportunities for night shifts when the factory is busy.

Key Responsibilities in the Factory & Yard:

• Confidently driving a forklift with bulky tanks to pick and load delivery trucks each day and unload deliveries of materials to the factory as required.
• Assisting in all aspects of manufacturing by rotational moulding (loading moulds with powder, removing tanks).
• Tank assembly, fitting, and extensive quality inspection.
• Keeping work areas organised and hazard-free while working to production targets.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A strong, inherent focus on Safety and Quality.
• Mechanically minded with previous experience using power tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and write legibly.
• Reliability to turn up for work consistently.

Licences & Qualifications:

• Essential: Valid NSW Class C (standard car) driver's licence.
• Essential: You must have your own car and licence to get to and from work (public transport is not an option).
• White Card (or willingness to obtain one if successful).
