Job summary

Rotoplas is a family-owned manufacturer and supplier of rotationally moulded rainwater tanks and related products in the Wollongong region. We are a fast-paced, hardworking team looking for a reliable person to assist with processing and assembling our products.

In this role you will load and unload rotational moulding machinery, trim, cut and assemble, and prepare items for dispatch. You may also assist with loading deliveries when required.

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Medium to high level of personal fitness.
• Ability to think, plan and prioritize work and meet dispatch schedules.
• Punctuality, honesty, positivity, self-motivation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading rotational moulding machinery.
• Trim, cut, assemble, clean and package products for dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required.
• Becomes a long-term team player in a local manufacturing business supplying quality products.

What does the role involve?

In support of our operations team, you will assist with loadingand unloading rotational moulding machinery, and trimming, cutting, assembling,cleaning and packagingproducts ready for dispatch. You will also assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required. You can become a long term team player in a local manufacturing business supplying quality products to local communities.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

A successful candidate will have:

• A reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence
• A valid forklift licence
• The ability and experience to use hand and power tools
• Medium to high level of personal fitness to meet the demands of the role
• The ability to think, plan and prioritizework and meet dispatch schedules
• Personal attributes of punctuality, honesty, positivity, self-motivation and the ability to problem-solve.

Additional skills & experience that will be an advantage include:

• MR licence
• Previous manufacturingexperience, especially machine operation/sheet metal/welding/mechanical fields
• Previous trade experience or qualifications
