Job summary

Just Better Care Adelaide is seeking a casual Rostering Coordinator to support our Torrensville team. You will manage service schedules, coordinate with Community Support Professionals and Case Managers, and arrange staff coverage for planned or unplanned absences.

You will work in a dynamic, caring office environment with a focus on delivering timely, high-quality in-home care and support services to clients in the local community.

Qualifications

  • Proven communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate with care teams and case managers.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Suite and data handling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage customer service schedules for in-home care.
  • Prepare and transmit schedules to Community Support Professionals.
  • Arrange replacement staff for planned or unplanned absences and shifts.
  • Coach, supervise, and support Community Support Professionals to ensure quality service.
  • Monitor and update individualised care plans.
  • Verify allocation of staff against schedules to ensure timely timesheet processing.
  • Maintain and update data in company information systems.
  • Meet standards for delivering quality in-home care and support services.

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in your local community?

We are looking for a casual (with the potential of permanent part time after probation period) Rostering Coordinator to join our caring and dynamic office team in Torrensville. Just Better Care Coordinators play a key role in helping families receive the care and support services they need.

Coordinators are responsible for coordinating the delivery of services using a team of Community Support Professionals. You will be the point of contact for Community Support Professionals and Case Managers ensuring our customers get the right care at the right time.

For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Developing and managing customer service schedules, including service planning, confirmation and short notice placements and cancellations
  • Preparing and transmitting schedules for customer services to Community Support Professionals
  • Arranging replacement staff to cover planned or unplanned absences and shift changes
  • Providing coaching, supervision, support and direction to Community Support Professionals to ensure quality service is provided to people they support
  • Monitoring the implementation of individualised plans for customers
  • Verifying allocation of Community Support Professionals against customer service schedules to ensure timesheet data is processed in a timely manner
  • Maintaining and updating data in company information systems
  • Meeting the specified standards for the delivery of quality in-home care and support services
About you:
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with, and confidence in using the Microsoft Suite
  • Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
What you will need:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector (highly regarded)
  • Availability Monday to Friday between 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Salary: $40.16 per hour
  • Contract: Casual role (guaranteed minimum of 25 hours per week)
