Job summary

CareChoice Pty is seeking a motivated Rostering Coordinator to join our Coordination Team in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate rosters, allocate skilled staff to client needs and build strong relationships with clients and staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

This 6‑month fixed-term role offers hybrid work with two days in Mulgrave Head Office and three days working from home. Experience in rostering or care coordination is preferred, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, rostering or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Respond promptly to staffing and scheduling needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with care staff, clients and stakeholders.
• Problem-solve staffing and operational challenges while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

About the role

As a Rostering Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring our clients receive the right support, from the right people, at the right time.

You will be responsible for coordinating our frontline workforce, managing rosters and ensuring appropriate coverage for our clients. You will also identify and allocate suitably skilled staff based on individual client requirements, while building strong relationships with both clients and team members.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, specifically in rostering or care coordination preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills
• A willingness and enthusiasm to learn and take on new challenges
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel - Salesforce experience is highly regarded
• Availability to work over the Christmas Holiday period is necessary
