Job summary

Piling & Concreting Australia is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians (IRATA L1-3) for Cairns and other East Coast sites. You will perform high-angle work, drilling, grouting and mesh installation across challenging geotechnical projects, with travel and accommodation allowances.

The role offers career progression in a specialist civil/geotechnical contractor. Ideal candidates have ARTA/IRATA credentials, White Card, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• IRATA certification (Level 1-3) required
• Current White Card
• Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and national crime check
• Commitment to safety and working in challenging environments

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access work at rock faces and structures across sites.
• Operate drilling rigs (sled, excavator-mounted) including Top Hammer and DTH.
• Carry out grouting, steel fixing and shotcreting on projects.
• Install Tecco and Maccaferri mesh systems and other passive support measures.
• Operate civil and construction plant as required.
• Travel and work away from home across Australia, including rural and regional sites.
