Job summary

Only About Children in Mona Vale is seeking a confident, caring Room Leader for our toddler room. You will guide learning rhythms, safety, family communications and educator support to create calm, connected days for children.

As a leader, you will shape programs, mentor staff, and collaborate with families to foster development. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within the campus and organisation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Experience leading a room or team within an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Leadership, mentoring and strong communication skills.
• Confidence managing room priorities, families and quality expectations.
• Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.

Responsibilities

• Guide learning, routines, safety and educator support to ensure calm, connected days.
• Lead programs aligned to children's interests and foster exploration.
• Support planning, documentation, reflection and daily practice among educators.
• Oversee supervision, ratios, room routines and child safety practices.
• Build respectful partnerships with families and share children's day with care.
• Contribute to quality outcomes through QIP, audits and room leadership.

Our purpose-built, two-level early learning Campus is located in the heart of Mona Vale, nestled within a peaceful residential pocket just moments from Mona Vale Beach and Apex Park.
