Job summary

RACV Torquay is seeking a proactive Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas. You’ll ensure a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment that enhances every guest’s stay along the Victoria coast.

Join a supportive leisure team with flexible roster options across a 7-day schedule, including weekends and public holidays. Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is desirable, but a positive, hardworking approach and pride in quality work are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas
• Making beds, changing linen and replenishing amenities
• Vacuuming, dusting and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
• Reporting maintenance issues and lost property
• Working closely with colleagues across the resort to deliver exceptional service
• Following health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times

About the Role

As a Room Attendant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our accommodation and public areas are presented to the highest standards. You’ll help create a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment that enhances every guest’s experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas

• Making beds, changing linen and replenishing amenities

• Vacuuming, dusting and maintaining cleanliness standards

• Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner

• Reporting maintenance issues and lost property

• Working closely with colleagues across the resort to deliver exceptional service

• Following health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times

This role operates across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays. To be considered for this role, you must be available to work across Friday - Monday.
