Job summary

RACV Limited in Torquay is hiring a Common Area Attendant to keep public spaces spotless and welcoming for guests. You will clean lobbies, bathrooms, conference areas, lifts and dining spaces, while following health, safety and hygiene standards.

We offer early morning and evening/night shifts, uniform and on-site parking, ongoing training and career development, plus RACV employee discounts on products and resorts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping or public area attendant role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating floor cleaning equipment, including scrubbing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work allocated shift hours.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to contribute to a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

As a Common Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the resort, ensuring a high standard of guest experience at all times. Duties include cleaning lobbies, bathrooms, conference areas, lifts, restaurants, bars, offices, common areas and other guest-facing facilities, while adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards.

Available Shifts

Early Morning Shift

• 5:00am to 12:00pm (7 hours including a 30-minute break)

Evening/Night Shift

• 8:00pm to 1:30am (5.5 hours)

Hours Subject to change

About you

To be successful, you’ll bring:
