Job summary

Beverly Rooftop is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our front of house team in South Yarra. You’ll lead lunch and dinner service, supervise the floor on shift, and support the Restaurant Manager to maintain exceptional standards.

You’ll train new staff, help with rostering and day-to-day admin, handle guest feedback calmly, and work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service. Availability on public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a premium restaurant.
• Experience training and supporting front of house staff.
• RSA certificate.
• Available to work public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good food and wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunch and dinner service with confidence and energy.
• Lead the floor team on shift, running briefings and allocating sections.
• Create memorable guest experiences and build relationships with regulars.
• Handle guest feedback calmly as it comes up.
• Help train and onboard new front of house staff.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with rostering, stock and day-to-day admin.
• Open and close the venue, including cash-up and handover.
• Work closely with our kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service.
• Help build a positive, high-performing team culture.
