Job summary

Beverly Rooftop in South Yarra is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team. You will own recruitment, onboarding and training, while delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, strong food and wine knowledge, and the ability to stay calm during busy service. Availability on public holidays and weekends is essential; RSA is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' management experience in a premium restaurant.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and training front of house staff.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong food and wine knowledge.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and positive during busy service.
• Availability to work public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead lunch and dinner service with confidence and energy.
• Create memorable guest experiences and build genuine relationships with regulars.
• Own recruitment and onboarding for the front of house team.
• Deliver regular, ongoing staff training to build a knowledgeable, high-functioning team.
• Manage rostering in line with labour budgets.
• Support, coach and develop the team day-to-day, driving service standards and attention to detail.
• Manage bookings and maximise the dining experience alongside the reservations team.
• Work closely with our kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service.
• Help build a positive, high-performing team culture.
