Queensland Rail is seeking an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic to maintain electrical systems on rolling stock in Brisbane. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to safe, reliable operations within a collaborative team.

The role requires a current Qld Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence; CPR/LV rescue is preferred and a High Risk Work Licence is advantageous. The roster is 24/7 with penalties for non-standard shifts.

Competenze

• Current Qld Electrical Fitter/ Mechanic Licence is required.
• CPR / LV rescue competency preferred.
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, Overhead Crane advantageous).
• Strong focus on safety in a rail maintenance environment.
• Proven fault-finding experience on light and heavy mechanical equipment.
• High voltage switching experience advantageous.
• Familiar with working in a teamwork environment.

Mansioni

• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repair and servicing of electrical systems on rolling stock.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in rolling stock.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation.
