Job summary

PROTECH is seeking an experienced Roller Operator for a year-long project north of Rockhampton at Marlborough. The role may extend beyond the initial term and requires readiness to also assist with general labour tasks as needed.

Camp, meals and accommodation are provided for non-local workers. Start date is 11/8/2026 with a 10/4 roster and approx 10-hour days. D&A testing is mandatory prior to engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating rollers on civil/mining sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment as required on site.
• Support labouring tasks when roller work is slow or unavailable.
• Adhere to D&A testing and site safety rules.
