Job summary

Independent Living Specialists – Rockhampton QLD is seeking a Full-time Retail Showroom Assistant for the Rockhampton Branch. You will be customer-focused, self-motivated and creative in seeking opportunities to grow the business.

The role runs Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and involves handling showroom transactions, reports, quotes, orders and customer inquiries across mobility aids and home care products. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred in a customer-facing role.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good administrative and prioritisation abilities.
• Self-motivated, creative thinker who can solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the showroom and balance transactions.
• Prepare reports, review sales data, quotes and orders.
• Actively seek new clients, contracts and marketing opportunities.
• Assist customers with questions and convey ILS services.
