SGS Australia, part of Fulcrum Robotics, is seeking an experienced RPAS Compliance Leader to support our Chief Pilot in maintaining CASA compliance while delivering drone projects and asset inspections across Australia.

You will lead compliance initiatives, manage pilot records, mentor operators, and build relationships with regulators and clients, helping shape safe, efficient UAV operations in a variety of environments.

Qualifications

• CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) – essential.
• Tertiary qualification in Aviation, Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience as a senior UAV operator, with broader aviation experience highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of CASA regulations, CASR Part 101, and operations under a ReOC
• Experience mentoring or supervising pilots or field-based technical teams
• Type ratings across multi-rotor and fixed-wing platforms, with BVLOS, controlled airspace, or night operations experience highly regarded
• Full unrestricted Australian driver's licence

Responsabilités

• Support the Chief Pilot in maintaining CASA compliance and governance across all RPAS operations under our ReOC.
• Lead compliance and capability projects, including new platform inductions, approvals, and operational improvements.
• Manage pilot records, currency requirements, and competency activities across the national pilot workforce.
• Deliver UAV field operations, asset inspections, and condition assessments across a variety of projects and locations.
• Ensure operational assets are maintained in a safe and airworthy condition and that all required documentation and reporting is completed accurately.
• Mentor and coach UAV Operators, promoting best practice and a strong safety culture.
• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders, providing technical and compliance expertise where required.
• Lead risk identification, incident response, and quality activities to ensure all operations meet regulatory and business standards.

Are you an experienced UAV professional who thrives at the intersection of aviation compliance and field operations?
