Job summary

Imitation Machines seeks Robotics Systems Engineers to deploy and integrate robot learning systems on-site with pilot partners across Australia, including Sydney and Perth. You will travel to client sites, configure, troubleshoot, and gather field feedback to improve our platform.

When not in the field, contribute to integration work, refine deployment tools, author documentation, and work closely with engineering to feed real-world challenges into R&D.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotics software stacks.
• Experience deploying physical robotics systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in real-world conditions.
• Good communication with clients; gathering requirements.
• Practical understanding of robot integration and system configuration.
• Self-driven, hands-on mindset; thrives in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to deploy and integrate robot learning systems.
• Provide technical support during initial deployment phases.
• Develop deployment processes and improve robustness from field insights.
• Document best practices and feed real-world challenges to R&D.
