Job summary

Norwest Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, is seeking a Robotic Urology Coordinator (Perioperative) to lead our Robotic Urology Program. You'll coordinate robotic urology services, mentor perioperative staff and work with surgeons and anaesthetists in a high-acuity theatre.

This senior nursing role requires current AHPRA registration, at least four years in Urology scrub/Scout with robotic experience, and a proactive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse in Urology, including robotic procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, coach and support staff development.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, on-call requirements and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Robotic Urology program.
• Manage and facilitate robotic surgical lists to ensure efficient theatre operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, industry representatives and theatre teams.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to perioperative nursing staff.
• Promote and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support ongoing education, training and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with ACORN standards and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to risk management and patient safety activities.
• Participate in a 7-day on-call roster.
