Job summary

SMS Personnel is seeking a Factory Hand for a night shift at Kilsyth, near Melbourne. You will learn to operate robot welding machines with full training provided. The role offers long-term career opportunities in a leading 4x4 accessories manufacturing environment, with an immediate start and weekly pay.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, factory or manufacturing experience, and the ability to follow production schedules with high attention to detail. Lifetime career potential awaits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity required.
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules.
• Experience in metal fabrication is advantageous.
• Ability to work repetitively and hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Set and load robot to produce a range of fabricated vehicle parts such as mounting brackets and sub-assemblies.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming parts.
• Troubleshooting as needed.
• Tack welding as required.
• Read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures and drawings.
