George & Matilda Eyecare is seeking a Roaming Casual Optical Dispenser to support practices across the NSW South region. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections and provide expert dispensing advice, delivering exceptional patient experiences across multiple locations.

The role offers flexibility and independence, with travel across the NSW South network and opportunities to work with diverse teams and patient communities.

Qualifications

• Previous optical dispensing experience (essential).
• Strong dispensing knowledge and ability to recommend frames, lenses, and optical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As part of the George & Matilda Eyecare network, you'll provide vital support to practices across the region, helping deliver exceptional patient experiences while ensuring continuity of care during periods of leave, peak trading, and additional operational support.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an Optical Dispenser who brings:

• Previous optical dispensing experience (essential)
• Strong dispensing knowledge and confidence recommending frames, lenses, and optical solutions
• A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to quickly adapt to new teams and practice environments
• A proactive, self-motivated, and independent approach to work
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
• Current driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the NSW South practice network
• Flexibility to work across varying locations and schedules as business needs require
