Job summary

Respect, the largest provider of aged care services in Regional Australia, is seeking an experienced Roaming Care Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our services.

This full-time role offers flexibility to be based remotely, with regular and frequent travel across TAS, VIC, NSW, WA, and QLD. You will work with residents, families and care teams to ensure care is safe, responsive and tailored to individual needs while upholding clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse) or Nursing Diploma (Enrolled Nurse) with relevant registration.
• AHPRA registration and minimum 3 years' experience in residential aged care.
• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and related legislation.
• Well-developed clinical knowledge and nursing practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families.
• Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality, person-centred care across multiple sites.
• Mentor and guide staff to promote excellence in clinical care and lifestyle services.
• Ensure duty of care and compliance with policies, codes of conduct and legislation.
• Monitor and report on practices, governance and quality improvements.
• Oversee care planning with residents, families and clinical teams.
• Support staff development through training and performance reviews.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external providers and stakeholders, including after-hours availability.
