Job summary
MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Roaming Excavator Crew in Central Queensland. You will travel between mining sites to provide maintenance support, fault-finding complex electrical issues, and keep Liebherr hydraulic excavators operating safely and reliably.

Qualifications
- Auto Electrical trade qualification (Australian-recognised)
- Experience working on heavy mobile plant in a mining environment
- Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with Liebherr excavators will be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and alongside site-based maintenance teams
- Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness and ability to travel between Central Queensland mine sites
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support across Central Queensland mine sites
- Travel between sites to support excavator fleet
- Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on heavy mobile plant
- Work with site-based maintenance teams to ensure safety and reliability
- Maintain high safety and quality workmanship standards
