Job summary

Ballina Shire Council is seeking a skilled operator to join our road maintenance team. The role focuses on safely and efficiently operating a Side Arm Tractor for roadside slashing across the Ballina Shire.

You will also provide relief operation of other plant and assist with related road construction and maintenance tasks, contributing to a safe and well-maintained transport network.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Side Arm Tractor for roadside slashing.
• Demonstrated civil construction duties related to roads/roadsides.
• Hold a Class MR driver licence with a clean driving record.
• White card or Construction Induction ticket.
• Willingness to obtain additional plant tickets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate side arm tractor to undertake roadside slashing across the Shire.
• Provide relief operation of other plant and equipment as required.
• Contribute to road construction and maintenance activities across the Shire.
