Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Project Officer - Technical Operations Roads to support maintenance and renewal contracts for the road network. You’ll be the day-to-day contact and provide leadership in end-to-end delivery, inspections, planning and reporting.

Bring practical road maintenance experience, a Certificate IV in Civil Construction or Project Management, and a current C class licence. This is a permanent full-time role offering a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• The role requires practical experience in road maintenance and construction.
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction or Project Management is required.
• Construction Induction Card competency is required.
• Current C class driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspections to ensure contract compliance with specs, legislation, quality and safety.
• High level planning and preparation of operational maintenance programs.
• End-to-end resolution of delivery issues including works progress and safety.
• Regular performance meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Advise on site technical issues and disputes; develop council reports.
