Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in business, asphalt, road building or similar.
• Current drivers license.
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams.
• PMBOK knowledge and project management fundamentals.
• Experience with paving equipment and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of work crews and enforce best practices.
• Deliver project objectives within time, scope and budget.
• Control costs and support profitability.
• Coordinate across departments to keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage labour, materials and equipment costs.
• Support bids with production and logistics insights.
• Carry out HSEQ/EHS reporting and environment compliance.
• Plan future works and scoping.
• Coordinate onsite staff and resources.
• Monitor progress and adapt work to changing needs.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Conduct quality reviews and generate completion reports.
• Drive growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
• Ensure plant & equipment check sheets are completed and submitted.
• Provide advice to technical staff on operation techniques.
• Coordinate workplace inspections and team communications.
