Job summary

Cumberland City Council in Sydney’s western region is seeking a Team Member Infrastructure to perform maintenance on the public domain, including footpaths, roads and drainage. You will contribute to a program ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality presentation across multiple sites.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in civil maintenance, a willingness to travel, and competence with small plant equipment. MR licence and blue/yellow Traffic Control cards are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Civil maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of road, footpath and drainage maintenance.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to travel across council worksites and operate across locations.
• Experience with small plant operations (roller, compactor, grinder, spray unit).
• MR licence or willing to obtain; White Card and Traffic Control Card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance works including footpath, road and drainage maintenance.
• Work efficiently to meet council and community expectations.
• Be available for overtime and emergency works.
• Operate small plant and equipment safely.
