Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking experienced road crew workers for a 3-month contract in the Cairns region. You’ll join a small crew and perform a range of manual labour tasks on outdoor roadworks sites, including laying pipes, patching potholes, and general maintenance.

Start ASAP, with Monday to Friday shifts and a physically demanding workload. This role requires a hands-on attitude, reliable transport to reach the client’s depot, full working rights in Australia, and a Manual C Class licence

Qualifications

• Experience in roadworks or road crew roles.
• Ability to perform physical manual labour.
• Hold a Manual C Class licence (MR a plus).
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roadworks tasks such as laying pipes and patching potholes.
• Support general road maintenance and labouring duties on site.
• Work as part of a small road crew in outdoor conditions.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
