Job summary

Synergie Australia is recruiting road crew labourers for a local government client based in Kuranda and Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands. Start ASAP on a 3-month contract with potential extensions for the right person.

You will join a small road crew, perform manual labour such as digging, concreting and pothole patching, and must be physically fit with Australian work rights. A Manual C class license to reach the depot is required, MR license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident.
• Start date ASAP with a 3 month contract and possible extensions.
• Must have White card road crew experience.
• Physically fit for manual labour (digging, concreting, etc).
• Manual C class license required to travel to the Mareeba depot; MR license advantageous.

• Small road team crew - must be physically fit to perform manual labouring tasks
• Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident

What you will be required to do:

Work in a small road crew team to help lay pipes, build headwalls, pothole patching etc

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have previous experience working as road crew and be physically fit to perform manual roles (digging, concreting etc)

Have a Manual C class license to get to and from the Mareeba Council depot to start and finish work(MR license would be an advantage)

• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to the local depot
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.

Possible work hours are between 6am - 6pm (usually 6am - 3pm)
