Victorian Government in Melbourne seeks a Safer Roads Engineering Specialist to provide expert advice on complex road safety issues, using Safe System approaches and engineering methods to improve Victoria's road safety. The role develops policies, programs and strategies and translates best practice into practical guidance for senior leaders and agencies.

Formación

• Experience in policy development or program/project management in road safety, public sector policy or public health (mandatory).
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Business Licensing Authority or qualifications that would enable future registration (mandatory).
• Strong road safety policy experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to simplify complex information, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships.
